Frequently Asked Questions
My generator runs but produces no voltage. Is it serious?
Not always. Loss of residual magnetism, a failed AVR or a blown rotating diode are common causes and are economical to fix. Actual winding failure is the less frequent case — we test and tell you exactly which it is before quoting.
How often should a standby generator be serviced?
Run it on load at least monthly, and give it a professional inspection every 6–12 months depending on criticality. Our AMC includes scheduled on-load testing with a documented readiness report.
Can you rewind large alternators or only small ones?

Do you install new DG sets too?
We handle the electrical side of DG installation — AMF/changeover panels, cabling, earthing and commissioning — and can coordinate with your genset supplier for a complete handover.
